The newly rebuilt viewing platform at Lunan Bay Beach is now complete and open to the public and we are proud to have played a part in making it happen
Led by the Lunan Bay Communities Partnership (LBCP) and supported by a National Lottery Awards for All grant, this project marks a significant step forward in improving accessibility and inclusivity at one of Scotland’s most beautiful coastal locations.
As part of our commitment to giving back, we were pleased to deliver our support for this project on a free of charge basis, a small way of helping to create a more accessible and welcoming space for everyone. It’s been a privilege to work alongside local businesses, professionals and volunteers, including Mott MacDonald, Mitie, RM Condor, Rosehill Timber and others, to help bring this shared vision to life.
This completed platform is a shining example of what community collaboration can achieve – a safe, sustainable and welcoming space for everyone, from bird watchers and photographers to wheelchair users and beachgoers of all kinds.
A huge thanks to LBCP for their leadership and tireless commitment to inclusion, conservation and community. We’re honoured to have contributed to such a meaningful project.
