Richard Irvin employs 210 people in the UK across our offices in sites and currently pay at least the real living wage to all of our employees.

The real Living Wage is an hourly rate of pay set independently and updated annually (not the UK government’s National Living Wage). It is calculated according on the cost of everyday essentials of living in the UK, and employers choose to pay the Living Wage on a voluntary basis.

“Paying the real living wage is the right thing to do. The pandemic has highlighted how valued our staff and engineers are in the communities that we serve. By investing in our people – paying a meaningful salary, we hope to make a positive impact, and attract and retain the best talent in our industry.” Commented Mark Buchan CEO, Richard Irvin FM
