Brian joins Richard Irvin FM as Sales Director. We caught up with Brian on his first day, to ask him some quick questions so that we (and you) can get to know Brian a little better.
Brian, welcome, please could you introduce yourself?
I’m a family man, with Marie my wife and 3 tremendous boys, a FM lifer, who loves the challenge of finding ‘win-win’ solutions for each and every individual client, their inclusive people and diverse property portfolios.
What attracted you to Richard Irvin FM?
RIFM was highly recommended by trusted industry colleagues, however it was only after meeting the senior team, did I know that I’d feel welcomed and valued as an integral part of the business.
What will you be doing at Richard Irvin FM?
Taking responsibility for new corporate FM business development, my time will be directed mostly within Northern England (80%) but also Scotland, relationship building and working closely with RIFM operations to develop winning operational solutions for our new prospective clients.
Tell us a bit about what you were doing before starting at Richard Irvin?
Happily entrenched within FM for 25 years, operationally accredited to IWFM Member, leading and winning complex Hard and Soft FM projects across UK&I.
What do you believe is the most valuable thing that RFIM can offer its clients?
Complete provable reassurance that all FM statutory compliance issues are 100% managed to certified completion and that all corporate risk has been mitigated.
And finally, if you could pick anyone, dead or alive to be your life mentor – who would it be and why?
Jack Nicklaus (greatest of all time golfer), led his golfing business and family life with complete honesty, integrity, commitment and love, his golfing legacy and strong family will echo his values and achievements forever.
