Large-scale pipework replacement on the roof area

We carried out a large-scale pipework renewal on the roof area supplying all chillers and AHU’s, this involved installing structural steel framework to allow the pipes to be routed around the roof area and fed into the chillers and AHU’s. The challenge on this project was the tons of structural steel and pipework that had to be lifted seven storeys to the roof, this involved traffic management to allow a crane to be operated from

the car park for one week at the start of the project and one week at the end to remove the old redundant pipework. This project was delivered within timescale and on budget.
