Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice

Richard Irvin Energy Solutions won the tender with Balfour Beatty, in 2016, to carry out the mechanical, electrical and public health services installations for the flagship Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.

The scope of works comprise of Natural Gas, Fire Mains, Biomass, LTHW Plant & Distribution Installations, Domestic Hot & Cold Water Services, Above Ground Drainage, Mechanical Ventilation, Sprinkler System, Building Management Systems, Oxygen and Vacuum Medical Gases, Comfort Cooling, Nurse Call, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Disabled Alarm & Refuge Systems, Fire Detection Alarm, IT Network, AV Systems, Switchgear and cabling, Lightning and Transient Overvoltage protection, Lighting Control, Interior and Exterior Lighting, Small Power Systems, Standby Generator.

Richard Irvin Energy Solutions has created a fully co-ordinated 3D Model during pre-construction thus enabling maximisation of off-site pre-fabrication whilst ensuring first time correct installation. By investing in this approach Richard Irvin Energy Solutions have provided a truly integrated solution.

The new state of the art facilities at Bellahouston Park, due to open in 2018 and will mean the Hospice team is able to continue to care for patients, carers, families and friends in the most supportive and rewarding of environments.
